Treks in Viang Pa Pao

Viang Pa Pao is a beautiful, relatively untouched area north of Chiang Mai. In Viang Pa Pao district there are numerous tribal villages of Lahu, Lisu, Akha, Hmong and Karen. Tiger Trail Thailand developed a range of treks in this wonderful area. In the area where we walk there are no elephants and no bamboo rafts. Focus of the trek is one the tribal people and the way they interact with their natural environment. These private program are for trekkers with a more than average physical condtion who want to enjoy an authentic trek through an area that gets very few visitors. You will be accompanied by a very experienced guide who will give you an intriguing insight into the lives of the Northern Thai hill tribes and the flora and fauna of the area.
